Went again for take out and wasn't disappointed!
**Then went again a week later it was so good **
Wonton soup was okay, I have a place not too far that is my go to wonton place so I don't think I'll order again.
Beef chow fun was very delicious! And I already can't wait to have it again!!
Chicken chow mien was above average and super tasty! I liked the chow fun better but would get again when I'm craving it.
Sweet and sour pork was great again! Not to over fried.
Orange chicken was very very good! Little guy loved! Had a nice dark color and flavor to match!
General chicken was spicer than other places but was right at my spice level that makes my mouth happy! Wouldn't feed to the little though.
Mongolian beef had too many onions and was over salted. I wouldn't order again
The woman working was really nice and I felt bad there wasn't anyone dining in on a Friday night at 7. We will be back and it's now our Chinese go to! -

I went here in the late 90's with my high school son since he knew the family. Went there today to have lunch with a friend who eats there frequently. I ordered lunch special of sweet & sour PRAWNS
What started this not being a good experience was that I cannot eat hot & sour soup......it does not agree with me. I asked for wonton soup but they said no. They gave me one wonton
When plate arrived, it had pressed shrimp that was breaded size of quarter....very mushy. Not tempura. Not prawns . The pineapple had a tainted taste that made me not want to eat it. Carrots were grated
I will never go back.
Highly recommend Great China at Farmers Lane Plaza -

We got carry out. The Mandarin dinner plus Mu Shu Pork (my favorite!). This was the best Mu Shu Pork I have had so far. The whole dinner was delectable, but the pork was outstanding.
I can't comment on the friendliness of the people since I didn't pick it up, but as far as food goes, this place is deserving of high marks.
My husband had no complaints as far as service, so I dare to say they were fine. I highly recommend the food here. -

What can I say about this little place, the food is actually pretty good and the service is extremely friendly. I've never had issues with an order and the waitress always takes time to sit and talk to my children. Plus we live really close and this is the best Chinese food we found so far.

I read that good Chinese food is hard to find in Santa Rosa. I agree, and Spring Lake Chinese Restaurant only adds to the list of very mediocre Chinese establishments in town.
I arrived at about 6:00 on a cold Wednesday evening. I needed some good food to warm me up. I was greeted by the hostess / proprietor and given the to go menu. I ordered broccoli beef and egg rolls. The food arrived a few minutes later. I could tell it was nice and hot.
When I got home, I dished up the food. Looked so-so. The egg rolls were pretty greasy and the broccoli looked limp.
Both visual perceptions were accurate. It seemed like they must have pre-cooked the broccoli because it is was mushy. The cabbage in the egg rolls was also pretty much just mush. Flavors were bland.
I doubt I will be back any time soon. Why, oh why can't I find a good Chinese restaurant close to home?
